The Saito exclusive Aluminium alloy used in the VSN-1500PS gives the sound a rich expressiveness. The hairline finishing matches the open and fundamental tone and higher harmonics in a well-balanced manner.
- Overtones and tuning curve

It employs octave tuning that tunes the fundamental and overtones two octaves higher and features 3 octaves + 4th of overtone tuning of the fundamental, especially in the bass range.
Step
Saito's unique tuning curve suppresses the fluctuation when playing chords while reducing the phenomenon that the pitch sounds low in an ensemble with other instruments.

Wide Tone Bars for a calm tone and high sound pressure. Capable of reaching expansive sounds during a chorded performance with 4 mallets.

An AC adapter is included, and a cordless drive is possible by AA batteries (8 batteries) for stage transitions. The thin controller enables playing with a bow, and the push switch rotates and stops the noiseless motor displaying the operating status with two colors of light.
- Fixed Positioned Stop (PS)

Maximum resonance cannot be obtained if the motor stops with the resonance tube fan closed. The “Fixed Position Stop (PS)” is a standard function that always stops the motor with the fan open.
